STARK, Chery Wanda and the ABC Metalworkers Union have signed a letter of intent for a joint project to produce electric vehicles in Brazil

　　On July 6, 2023, the ABC Metal Workers Union held a cooperation exchange meeting with STARK and Chery Wanda in Brasilia, and signed a letter of intent on cooperation between the three parties in the production of electric vehicles in Brazil.

　　The main participants in this cooperation and exchange meeting are:

　　Mr. Aroaldo Oliveira da Silva, Executive Director of the ABC Metalworkers Union, Agência de Desenvolvimento Econômico Grande ABC and President of IndustriALL-Brasil.

　　Mr. Liu Zhonglai, Overseas Sales Director of Chery Wanda Bus

　　Mr. Aroaldo Oliveira da Silva said at the meeting that the application of new energy vehicles in Brazil has increased significantly in the past two years, and has huge market potential in the next ten years. Localized production and manufacturing of automobiles is very important for Brazil, and STARK and Chery Wanda are very welcome to develop the new energy automobile industry in Brazil.

　　In addition to providing favorable industrial policies for the industrial projects of the cooperative enterprises in Brazil, they will also organize the universities, colleges and scientific and technological institutes in the territory to provide technical support for the enterprises.

　　According to the signed letter of intent, STARK will jointly develop the Brazilian bus market with Chery Wanda, introduce new energy buses into Brazil by means of vehicle export in the early stage, and gradually convert to SKD and CKD modes, and finally realize localized production of vehicles in Brazil, covering the Brazilian and South American markets.
